Tri-County Seniors Launch 3 Part End-of-Life Planning Series

The Tri-County Seniors are planning a three-part series of speakers regarding Preparing for End of Life.

On March 18, staff from C.H. Landers Funeral Home will discuss all aspects of preplanning for a funeral.

On April 15, attorneys Beth Westfall and Avery McClean from Coughlin and Gerhart Law Offices will speak about legal considerations such as estate planning, power of attorney and wills.

The series will continue on May 13 when Tammy Christman from Helios Care will explain the Five Wishes Advance Directive for medical treatment.

Each session will include a question and answer period. All three programs will take place in the Smart Community Room of the Sidney Library at 10:30 a.m. Preregistration is requested. Call Carol Allen at 607-563-8065, or email tricountyseniorcenter@yahoo.com at least one week prior to the session.
