UNADILLA - The Unadilla Community Food Pantry will host its third annual Resource Fair Aug. 31, bringing 27 agencies from Delaware and Otsego counties together to connect residents with information and assistance.

The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 172 Main Street and is open to anyone seeking information about available community services.

Participating agencies will offer resources involving food insecurity, public assistance, emergency housing, veterans’ services, senior programs, children and families, weatherization, utilities, medical care, mental health, cancer, domestic abuse, Medicaid, SNAP, employment, financial assistance, ticks and rabies.

While the event is intended in part to assist food pantry clients, organizers said it is designed for residents throughout the surrounding communities. Attendees can ask questions, gather information or connect with agencies that may be able to assist them or someone they know.

Organizers are encouraging residents, community groups and local organizations to share information about the event to help reach people who may not be aware of available services.

The Resource Fair will take place Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Unadilla Community Food Pantry, 172 Main Street, Unadilla.
