Walton man faces felony assault charge in domestic dispute

DELHI - A Walton man, Jared A. Lambrecht, 39, was indicted by the Delaware County Grand Jury Thursday, Dec. 12 and charged with five felony counts including second-degree strangulation, second-degree assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the second-degree, misdemeanors.

Lambrecht is accused of intentionally physcially injuring his spouse in the presence of children on Nov. 3 in the town of Tompkins.

Lambrecht was released from the Delaware County Jail after posting $20,000 cash bail and $5,000 credit card bail

following centralized arraingment.

Lambrecht is scheduled to be arraigned in Delaware County Court on Jan. 21, 2025.
