Walton resident promoted at HCR Home Care

HCR Home Care has promoted Jennifer Woodin, RN, of Walton, to regional director of patient services in the Catskill region.

In this new role, Woodin plans, organizes, coordinates and evaluates HCR’s patient services in Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie counties and works with clinical management to assure high-quality patient outcomes.

Woodin brings 20 years of experience to the position, including a decade serving people in HCR’s Catskill service area as a clinical field staff supervisor and as an RN case manager. A patient-oriented nurse with diverse experience in direct patient care, staff supervision and department operations, Woodin is adept at multitasking and prioritizing patient needs. Her connection to the region and her commitment to patient advocacy have been instrumental in leading HCR’s Catskills team to a 5-star agency status. Her efforts have also contributed to placing the Catskill region in the Top 20% in the nation for Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) Best Home Health Patient Satisfaction.

Woodin earned an associate degree in nursing from SUNY at Delhi and she is currently working toward earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University.
