ANDES — The Andes Town Clerk’s Office has issued an important reminder to residents and visitors: Starting Dec. 1 through April 1, overnight parking on state Route 28 in the hamlet of Andes is strictly prohibited between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
The seasonal parking restriction, mandated by the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT), ensures efficient snow removal during the winter months. Vehicles parked in violation of this rule will be towed at the direction of DOT, at the owner’s expense.
The town urges everyone to comply with this regulation to facilitate safe travel conditions and maintain clear roadways throughout the winter season.
