The Hobart Festival of Women Writers comes to the Book Village of Hobart, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 7 - 9. Hobart first became a hub for book enthusiasts in 2005 and eight years later, in 2013, The Hobart Festival of Women Writers was born. This annual festival is an opportunity for women writers all over the country to showcase their work, insights and skills. The festival is centering the work of women writers but is open to participants of all genders.
The Festival offers three days of public readings, writing workshops, writing intensives and art shows. The diversity the workshops offer something for everyone.
