In the ninth match of the Central Empire State Rifle and Pistol League for the 2023-24 season, Sidney defeated Delhi 1071-14X to 1001-10X, for the week ending Dec. 15. High shooters for Sidney were Phillip Guglielmo with a 287-6X; Vinny Guglielmo with a 281-4X; Jim Winn with a 252-1X; and Connor Sherman with a 251-3X. Others shooting for Sidney were Eddie Cotton, Mike Terzo, Ernie Griswold, Chris Curtin, and Bruce Gerken.
High scores for Delhi were Mabel Gutliph who shot a 277-5X; Kevin Gutliph with a 265-3X; Bret Sage with a 245-1X; and Carmelo Meli who shot a 214-1X. Other Delhi shooters included Dennis Klimowski.
Stamford/Richmondville defeats Rockdale 1095-16X to 1064-11X. High scores from Stamford/Richmondville were Jim Hitt with a 276-3X; Steve Baker with a 274-5X; Gus Mueller who shot a 273-6X; and John Wyckoff with a 272-2X. Other Stamford/Richmondville participants were Carl Tubbs, Larry VanDeusen, Javin Tiover (new shooter), and Mark Gifford.
High shooters for Rockdale were Rick Braun with a 269-4X; Dave Dewey who shot a 269-2X; Steve Ingalls with a 266-5X; and Pat Hawkins with a 260-0X. Other Rockdale shooters were Gerry Palmer, Joe Ocasio, and Bonnie Bud.
Walton defeated Oneonta 1091-13X to 1040-14X. Top shooters for Walton were Justin McAdams with a 278-3X; Glenn Bowker who shot a 273-4X and Brian MacRabie with a 272-3X.
