Cherish the Ladies performs Celtic Christmas Dec. 21

Music on the Delaware welcomes “Celtic Christmas” by Cherish the Ladies to the historic Walton Theatre stage Thursday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. This show has become an annual favorite tradition in Walton and quickly sells out.

Cherish the Ladies has won the hearts of audiences worldwide with their blend of traditional music, captivating vocals, and propulsive step dancing. Under the leadership of Joanie Madden these gifted women create a moving experience brimming with sheer talent and exuberant entertainment. 

The show will feature Joanie Madden (flute, whistles, harmony vocals), Mary Coogan (guitar), Mirella Murray (accordion), Nollaig Casey (fiddle), Kathleen Boyle and Gabriel Donohue (piano and harmony vocals), Kate Purcell (vocals and guitar), Don Stiffe (lead vocals and guitar), John Madden and Cheryl Prashkar (sharing percussion), with outstanding dancing from Noel Spillane, Nathan Pilatzke, and Tyler Schwartz.
