When the Meredith Dairy Fest organizers needed new wooden cow signs to promote the event, Delaware Academy students came to the rescue. Students in the school’s FFA chapter and Ms. Somers’ woodworking/welding class have cut dozens of new plywood cow signs, and are hard at work painting them. Here, Delaware Academy students Tobin Romano, Beatrix Bowser, Riley Maney, and Tabitha Hendrickson are painting, supervised by Ms. Somers. The Meredith Dairy Fest takes place June 8-9.
