Grandma’s recipe: Rich Liddle’s request for my Chili Sauce; 12 ripe tomatoes peeled and diced, 6 onions cut up, 3 green peppers cut up, 2 cups sugar, 2 1/2 cups vinegar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp. cloves, 1 tsp nutmeg. Mix all together in a large pot and simmer slowly for about 4 hours. Fill pint jars and seal while hot.
My Thoughts of the week: I hope all got out to enjoy the Walton Fair this week. There is always so much to see and do down there for the week.

Helpful Hints: Got a fruit fly problem? Pour some balsamic vinegar in a small bowl, put plastic wrap tightly over the top and poke holes in it. Place near fruit fly infestation - it will attract and kill the flies.
