Delaware Pantry hosts art receptions Sept. 30, Oct. 7

Delaware Pantry celebrates its latest artists with a closing reception Saturday, Sept. 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. showcasing paintings from Neil Driscoll, West Fulton, Robert Axelrod, Halcottsville, and Sandra Finkenberg, Bovina.

Refreshments will be served.

Driscoll paints the soul of his subjects in an eclectic style that is both folk inspired and impressionistic. His works are serious, abstract, flippant, and insightful. Axelrod has been painting plein air in the Catskills for the past 30 years - making sense of the natural randomness of a motif and finding its rhythm or mood. Finkenberg’s “muse and sustenance are these old hills where life was hard but always easy on the eyes.” Artists remind us that we each have our own personal and unique view of the world.

Mark your calendars for our next show, watercolors by Karen Graves, opening Saturday, Oct. 7. Delaware Pantry is located at 21780 NY28, Delhi, 3.9 miles from the traffic light in Delhi.
