Democratic primaries will be held in Delaware County June 25 for Roxbury Town Council and Assembly District 102 representative.
In Roxbury Lisa M. Ciaravino and Nathan S. Potter are competing to be on the Democrat line in the general election for a Roxbury town council seat to fill a three year vacancy.
Mary T. Finneran and Janet S. Tweed are competing for the Democrat line in the general election for 102 Assembly representative seat. Bovina, Davenport, Delhi, Franklin, Hamden, Harpersfield, Kortright, Meredith, Roxbury, Stamford and Walton are Delaware County towns represented in the 102 Assembly District.
There are no Republican primary elections in Delaware County on June 25.
Primary elections are held at regular polling sites. The last day to register for the primary is June 15. The last day for the board of elections to receive early mail/absentee ballot applications online or by mail is June 15.
Early voting will take place Saturday, June 15 through Sunday, June 23 at the Board of Elections Office, 97 Main Street, Suite 5, Delhi as follows:
• June 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• June 17, 19, 20, 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.
• June 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• June 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The board of elections office is accessible to voters with disabilities.
If a voter casts a ballot during early voting, the voter will not be allowed to vote on election day or on a subsequent voting day of early voting.
