The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is offering a half-day conference - EmpowHER: Strategies for Embracing Work and Life - directed toward women in business (men are also encouraged to attend) and is a key component of the Chamber’s overall effort to increase workforce participation and inclusion.

Join professional women in learning how to make an impact in your career and community, identify your strengths, and find clarity on your next steps. Come for honest and open conversations. Leave with key strategies to help elevate your success at work.

Keynote Speaker: Joyce St. George “Being Unreasonable: Why the Future Depends on It.”

Workshops: “Find Your Unique Voice and Fall in Love with Your Work and Your Life” and “Women in the Workplace: Work Life Integration and Having a Voice.”

Cost is $30 per person. The conference will be held Nov. 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the The Old Schoolhouse Inn & Restaurant, State Route 30, Downsville. This event is sponsored by Beaver Mountain Log Homes in Deposit.
