Posted

Join Hanford Mills Museum July 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for its Dairy at the Mill Exploration Day. Bring the whole family to enjoy vanilla ice cream churned at the mill while supplies last - celebrate National Ice Cream month and learn the history of Delaware County’s dairy industry.

Many vendors and exhibitors will be on-site for the festivities. The Delaware County Dairy Ambassadors will join us for the day. The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schoharie & Otsego Counties will be on-site, representatives from Hartwick’s Baking Innovation Lab will highlight their efforts to support regional biodiversity of food-quality grain.

Food trucks and other vendors will be on site as well. Visitors are also welcome to bring lunch and snacks to enjoy at the picnic tables or as you explore. This Exploration Day is a fun, dynamic way for all ages to learn about the dairy industry.
