Helen Tracy Lowe-Porter was the translator of the legendary German novelist Thomas Mann. Jo Salas’s recent novel, MRS. LOWE-PORTER, is based on the life of this brilliant but overlooked woman, a gifted writer in her own right. Jo, an award-winning New Zealand-born writer now living in upstate NY, will be in conversation with Lanny Harrison, a performer, poet, dancer, Delaware County resident, and founding theater teacher at West Kortright Center.
