Keath E. Davis, 76, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.
Born on Feb. 3, 1944 in Margaretville, he was a son to the late Eugene and Catherine (Close) Davis.
On Dec. 17, 1966, he married his loving wife, Joan (Wheeler) Davis in Andes.
Keath was a member of multiple organizations such as the Walton Masonic Lodge, Walton Cruisers, and the Walton Mountain Outdoorsman Club. He was an avid car enthusiast. In 1968 Keath began working for Breakey Motors and in 1985, he became the owner. Working side-by-side with his children gave him such joy. Keath has always stuck by his beliefs, loved talking politics and was very involved in his community.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joan Davis; their children Teresa Davis (Bryan) and Scott Davis (Tina); a brother Charles Davis; sister-in-law Patricia Haight (Manley); brother-in-law Rex Wheeler; grandchildren Brooke (Vance), Derek (Summer), Aaron, Chris (Jean) and Bryant (Makenna); great-grandchildren Jayda, Ryker, Sebastian, Cecilia, Rylee, and Connor.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Maryanne.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced.
