HARPERSFIELD - The Otsego County Pomona Grange will meet Saturday, June 8 at Colonel Harper Grange Hall, 170 Wilcox Road starting at 11 a.m. All local Grange members are welcome to attend. The lunch, at noon, will be provided by Colonel Harper Grange. Each family should bring their own table service.
The pumpkin quick bread contest will be held and all entries for the contest should be in place by 11 a.m. along with recipe.
Reports of Pomona officers, committees and subordinate (community) granges will be given.
After lunch the lecturer’s program will feature guest speaker Hannah Rion, farm-to-school coordinator with the Food and Health Network based in Binghamton.
New business taking place will be the election of one member to the Pomona executive committee and election of delegates to state session in October.
