Rosemary A. Bennett, 79, of Cadosia, passed away at her home surrounded by her children and dedicated caregivers Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 at home. She was born May 6, 1943 in Hancock, the daughter of Raymond L. and Mary E. (Marvin) Shaffer. She married Alan R. Bennett May 12, 1962 at St. Paul’s Church, Hancock. He predeceased her Dec. 9, 2021.

Rosemary was a tough, organized lady. She pursued many endeavors and hobbies over the years: fitness, concrete garden statues, haunted house, music/piano, farming, gardening, a pizzeria, and assorted handicrafts. Rosemary’s biggest accomplishments include passing on her teachings to the next generation; her faith, family values, and moral compass.

Surviving are five children: Tim (Ginger Wegman), Theresa Beers, Bruce (Laurie), Valerie (Edward Hunter), and Linda (John Letosky); nine grandchildren: Shaun, Jolene, Alyssa, Katelynn, Alexis, Megan (Nick Petriella), Rachel, Kylee and Tomas; and two great-grandchildren, Jaylin and Kirra. She is also survived by siblings Edith, Richard, Helen, Stephen and Howard; and many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was predeceased by her brother Leon; sister Nancy; and son-in-law George Beers.
