SHA host covered bridge talk Sept. 30

The Sidney Historical Association (SHA) will host a program of the history and current state of preservation of Covered Bridges in New York state Saturday morning Sept. 30, starting at 10:30.

The program will be presented by Mr. and Ms. Wayne Marshfield in the Smart Room of the Sidney Memorial Public Library, corner Main and River streets. The program will include interesting information and projected photos about the construction and restoration of our area covered bridges and is offered to the public and other Historical Associations in our area. There will be no charge for admission. 

Mr. and Ms. Marshfield are currently leading members of the New York State Covered Bridge Society.

Wayne Marshfield also serves as Delaware County Supervisor for the town of Hamden.
