On Sunday, October 20 at 3 PM, Friends of Music of Stamford, NY presents a chamber music concert by the award-winning Shea-Kim Duo, featuring Brendan Shea (violin) and Yerin Kim (piano). This husband and wife duo has competed internationally and toured the world, performing in Belgium, Italy, Canada, South Korea, and throughout the United States. Their awards include the Ackerman Chamber Music Award and Gold Medal at the Manhattan International Music Competition; their performances have been broadcast on Klara Continuo in Belgium, PBC in Seoul, and WUFT Classic in the USA. For this engagement, the pair will play works by Bach, Schnittke, Paganini, Haydn, and Schumann.
This event is generously hosted by the First Presbyterian Church at 96 Main Street, Stamford, NY. Admission is by donation at the door; the suggested donation is $15 per person, $10 for seniors & students. There is no charge for those under age 13.
