Walton Central School to present Beauty and the Beast

The Walton Central School District music department will present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25. The musical will be held in the high school auditorium.

The production will feature Eve Foster as Belle, Caden LeBarge as the Beast and Paul Morse as Gaston. Other performers include Eli Williams - LeFou, David Gatchalian - Maurice, Jayvn Mason - Cogsworth, Meyer Little - Lumiere), Cookie Richards - Babette), Adara Allen  -Mrs. Potts, Leila Pedro  -Chip  and Aurora Siniscalch, wardrobe.

Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes songs written by Alan Menken, the late Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. 

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self.  

Older adults are invited to attend the final dress rehearsal at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 23. This performance is free and open only for senior citizens.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $7 in advance and $8 at the door for adults, and $5 in advance for students, $6 at the door. 

Advanced tickets can be purchased at the Walton Music House, or from the front desk at Walton high school.
