WALTON - Walton Mayor Ed Snow is asking that municipal water district users conserve water while two of the village’s wells are offline. A replacement well is not yet online on Water Street, Snow said; and a second well is undergoing scheduled repair or rehabilitation work.
There is plenty of water, Snow said, and no concerns about water supply.
It is hoped that one of the two wells will be back online within the next couple of weeks, he said.
There are five wells that supply the village of Walton with water.
