Early voting in Delaware County

Posted

Deadlines for new registrations and change of address for the Nov. 8 general election have passed, according to Delaware County Board of Elections (BOE) Commissioner Judith Garrison. Those who have moved within the county or state, must go to the polling place that corresponds to their new address. Call the Delaware County Board of Election office at 607-832-5321 for the correct location, if necessary.

Once an absentee ballot has been issued to a voter, they cannot vote on the machine on Election Day - only by affidavit ballot.

The last day to postmark absentee ballots is Nov. 8. Ballots must be received by Nov. 15. Ballot boxes are available on both sides of the Delaware County Board of Elections, 3 Gallant Avenue, Delhi, where ballots can be deposited at any time. Absentee ballots can also be brought to polling locations on Nov. 8.
