DELHI - Bainbridge-Guilford boys varsity soccer defeated Delhi 7-0, Wednesday, Sept. 12.
BG jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Benjamin Porter and Connor Borowski. BG took the 2-0 lead into break, and took a decisive lead in the second half on back-to back goals by Porter. BG outshot Delhi 15-6 in the contest, Bulldogs Coach Todd Bruce said. Scoring for BG were: Benjamin Porter, who scored three goals; Connor Borowski, Corbin Germund, Tyler Engel, and Blake Tuttle who each scored one goal.
BG goalkeeper Dale Haynes had five saves; Bulldogs goalie Tabor Reed had seven, Connor Riera had two.
