Bunny Sue Houck, 76, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Bunny was born Oct. 23, 1946 in Walton, the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda (Vickers) Houck.
Bunny worked for Sunnydale for many years as a floral designer. She was a 4-H Leader for nine years. Bunny enjoyed making quilts and afghans, doing crafts and working on puzzles. She loved Christmas and going to the Delaware County Fair. Over the years she had many special cats that she loved.
Bunny is survived by her loving family, her son Shawn Springett of Sidney, grandchildren Brittany, Kierstin and Stephanie, sister Shannon (John) Shelton of Sidney, brothers Patrick Houck (Pamela) of Walton and Matt Houck (Sheri Soules) of Walton, two great-grandchildren Avery and Milani and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, Oct. 26, at 4 p.m. at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, with Pastor Larry Light, officiating. Visitation will follow the funeral service from 5 to 7 p.m. where the family will receive family and friends.
Burial will be held Friday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
