Edward J. Czerniak Jr., 76, of Walton, formerly of Bucks County, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 at home. Edward was born Aug. 27, 1946 in Abington, Pa., the son of the late Edward J. and Margaret (Lojeski) Czerniak Sr. On September 8, 1973, he married the former Karen Myers in Bedminster, Pa. Edward loved cars so it was natural that he sold cars for Foster and Kardane Motors in Doylestown, Pa., for 35 years. He took great pride in keeping his own cars pristine. He also mowed his lawn like a work of art and enjoyed just sitting on his porch admiring the view and the wildlife. He was an avid hunter and throughout the years belonged to several hunting clubs but enjoyed hunting with his brother, son and grandsons the most. He had great interest in firearms and following retirement worked at a gun shop and loved to just hang out with fellow enthusiasts. He was a people person and loved his family and friends and just spending time with them. He was known for saying: “If there’s anything you need, just give a holler.”

Edward is survived by his loving family, his wife Karen Czerniak, and son Jay (Beth) Czerniak of Walton; grandchildren Mark, Ryan and Claire; brother Robert (Norma) Czerniak of Doylestown, Pa.; sister Donna Czerniak (Robert Steinberg), brothers-in-law Edward Myers of Perkasie, Pa., Dale (Brenda) Myers of Bedminster, Pa., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Valerie Black, and nephew Matthew Hammerstone.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In Edward’s memory the family asks that he be remembered with good thoughts and fond memories.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton. Condolences to the family may be made online at courtneyfh.com.
