Gerald Michael Gregory, 58, of Walton died unexpectedly at his home Friday, March 15, 2024. Jerry was born Dec. 23, 1965, to Carl and Janet Birdsall Gregory.
Jerry enjoyed attending the Delaware County Fair every year, watching the Walton Warriors Football team play, and daily visits with the dogs and cats. He also enjoyed his trips to the Country Store for lottery tickets and to visit his friends. Jerry was an avid bird watcher and lover of all animals.
Jerry is survived by his father Carl E. Gregory of Walton, two sisters, Cathy Scofield of Walton, Betty (Wesley) Brundege of Walton, two brothers, Wayne (Shelley) Gregory of Moore, S.C.., and James (Michelle) Gregory of Sidney Center, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Jerry was predeceased by his mother Janet Gregory in 2017 and brother-in-law Don Scofield.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service. Spring burial will take place in Walton Cemetery.
