Lynn “Ed” Brayman, born May 19, 1949 in Bainbridge, passed away Oct. 17, 2022 in Munnsville, at his son’s home while in the care of his family. He was 73.

Ed worked for the Delaware County Highway Department for 35 years as a truck driver and bridge crew foreman. He was a Masonville Fire Commissioner, and active with 4-H and FFA with his sons. His grandkids were the delight of his life; he enjoyed time spent with them. In turn, his family relied on his knowledge, wisdom and advice.

Following retirement, Ed spent many hours with Duane, Eric and Neil doing crop and livestock work. He spent his married life on Mormon Hollow Farm in Masonville, making improvements and working hard. He was very proud of his current Angus herd, and in previous years, his swine herds.

Ed is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeri (Young) Brayman; three sons, Duane (Rachel Bunal) of Munnsville, Eric (Kim) of Skaneateles, and Neil (Jodi) of Masonville; grandkids Mackenzie, Troy, Luke, Everett, Jacob, Marion and Brandon; dear friends Steve Roff of Masonville, John and Gloria Stenson of Warsaw, Jess and Lois Lavoie of W. Middlesex, Pa., and John Nigro of Delaware.

He was predeceased by his parents Lynn Brayman and Jean Walker, maternal grandparents Archie and Elise Gunn, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Everett and Elaine Young.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, in Masonville Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow from 2-5 p.m. at the Masonville Federated Church.
