Ruth Stall, wife of the late Dr. Max Stall, passed away Monday evening, March 4, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother of two, David (Judy) and Robin (Alan), grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of two girls.
Ruth had several careers. She was a dietitian, a junior high home economics teacher, and a high school guidance counselor. Ruth was also a substitute teacher for the area BOCES and for the Walton Central School District. While living in Walton, Ruth was also active in Amaranth serving as Matron for a term.
She was active in Temple Beth El in Oneonta, Fleetwood Synagogue in Mount Vernon, and more recently in Temple Beth Tikvah (TBT) in Greenacres, Fla. At TBT, the congregation dedicated the kitchen in honor of her work there for the sisterhood.
Ruth will always be remembered for her positive outlook. She enjoyed her time in each community in which she lived. Ruth loved to bake and share her recipes with family and friends. Wherever she was, she made a lasting impression.
